The virtualised installation means that each school can set up their own portal with customised links to learning applications, databases and content. Teachers have their own class pages, digital content repository, integrated calendars, file share and communication and collaboration tools.

Extend your Learning and Communication Portal

If your school is a member of a cluster (i.e. diocese, school district, government group etc), Powerhouse Campus has the capacity to link your school portal with other schools in your network.

Enabling the School Enterprise dashboard allows schools to connect their Powerhouse Campus portal with other institutions in their network.

The School Enterprise dashboard opens access to Class Pages and learning resources from all network members. Teachers across the network can search for learning and teaching resources and the portal will deliver the specific resources for download.

Schools can work collaboratively by providing remote access to Class Pages to support partner schools. Schools can access and share news, calendars and professional development courses. Schools can consider broadcasting content (i.e. teachers and keynote speakers) across of the network using applications such as Skype in schools.

Schools can extend and enhance student learning by providing students with access to Powerhouse Campus Forums, Blogs and Wikis. Collaborative Class Pages can be established to build collaborative spaces and access to curriculum material, library databases and educational applications.
