Powerhouse Campus builds your community with a series of connected dashboards that cater for different members of your school. Each dashboard provides a custom set of tools and services to assist each school community member.

For instance, teachers have class pages, sporting coaches have event calendars, students have access to all class and co-curricular information, parents have access to their child's data and school boards have secure communication and document sharing portals.

In addition to Teacher, Student and Parent Dashboards, there are also dashboards for Principals, School Administrators, IT Coordinators, Ancillary Staff and Activity Staff. Each dashboard presents personalised calendars, streamed news, file shares, links and school announcements.

Using Dashboards to Build Your Connected School Community

Powerhouse Campus provides intuitive tools to enable schools to quickly and easily customise their own school intranet and connected community. Your IT Administrator simply enables or disables specific dashboards to create a custom network. For instance, if a school plans to implement a staged release of their connected community they could enable principal, teacher, ancillary staff and activity staff dashboards and then teachers can communicate and collaborate online while accessing real time news, interactive calendars and file shares.

As part of a staged roll-out, your school would receive professional development to assist teachers in creating their class and co-curricular (activity) pages. When all teachers have created their pages, the student dashboard is enabled and your students have automatic access to all of their classes and activities. Once the parent dashboard is enabled the parents have instant access to their child's classes, homework, reports, documents, news and events.

Customising Year Level Dashboards

Powerhouse Campus provides simplicity yet power in delivering customised class pages for the Teacher and Student Dashboards. The IT Administrator simply clicks 'Class Page Settings', selects a Year level and then checks what widgets and functions are applied to each page. This means that each level in your school can have its own set of custom tools and functions.
