Our first set of videos primarily focus on common tasks that are undertaken by teachers using Campus including adding class pages, uploading documents to the class files widget, adding homework and how to use the dropbox. Campus - Overview

Campus - Class Tools

 The class tools in Campus are accessed using the blue tabs at the top of the class interface and also via the class tools widgets that appear on the class home page. Campus - Adding Widgets

You can customise your class pages in Campus by adding widgets. Widgets are content blocks that can contain weblinks, videos, Flash content and a range of other items. You can find out more about the widgets in the Campus - Widgets (PDF 265KB) document.

Campus - Adding Class Files

The Class Files widget allows you to create folders and upload documents to share with the students of you classes. The video below gives you a brief overview of how to add a folder and a document. You can download the Campus Class File Widget (PDF 224KB) to read about the class files widget.

Campus - Adding Class Pages

Campus - Tagging Class Pages

In addition to creating your own class pages you can also search for and tag the class pages of other teachers into your class.

Campus - Editing the Content Block Widget

At the top of each class page sits the content block widget. This widget can be used for any type of content you like. You might have a welcome to the class widget or use the content block to share information with the students about a specific topic.

Campus - Adding Homework

In Campus you can use the Homework class tools widget to set homework items for your students. You can also setup a dropbox for the students to upload their completed work so you can download it for marking. This video gives you an introduction to adding homework.

Campus - Introducing Dropbox

Dropbox is the area of Campus that students use to upload homework assignments for marking. The following series of videos introduce dropbox, show you how to download work submitted by students, how to uploaded marked work and how to add comments and marks before finalising the dropbox. This video shows you how to download the work submitted to the dropbox by students.

Campus - Uploading Marked Files to Dropbox

Once you have downloaded and marked the work submitted by students you will need to upload the marked work to return it. This video show you how to do it.

Campus - Finalising the Dropbox

Now that you have uploaded the marked files you will need to add comments and marks before the work can be returned to the students. WIth this task done you can then finalise the dropbox. View the video below to find out how.
