 Document Sharing and Content Repository

Powerhouse Campus provides your school community with a content repository to store, search and retrieve documents and files. The documents are accessed as File Shares via the Powerhouse Campus dashboard. The Teacher Dashboard provides access to Teacher Shared Files and the teacher's My Briefcase.

Shared Files provide access to centrally published files that are only visible and accessible. My Briefcase provides a secure and private storage area for the teacher to upload and access their own files.   

Shared Files and Personal File Repositories

The Shared Files and My Briefcase files are accessed as widgets on the Teacher Dashboard. Students also have access to Shared Files and a personal file storage area. The storage area for students is called My Backpack.

Principals and School Boards have access to secure and confidential file shares and parents have access to files shares to download key school files. 

Teachers can publish folders and files to their class pages. The Class Files are accessed by students as a widget on their portal.

The School's IT Administrator can set storage quotas for the file shares for teachers, students, parents, staff, principals and school boards.

In addition to the file shares capability, Powerhouse Campus provides options to schools that wish to disable the file shares and link directly to existing file directories on the school server.
