Enhancing the Learning Experience for Students

The Powerhouse Campus Class Pages provide teachers a range of online learning tools, file management, homework drop boxes, school announcements, integrated calendars and custom dashboards.

The Class Pages also provide teachers with a Content Block where they can copy and paste content, use the editors to develop content and import all file types to create an invaluable curriculum resource for their students. Learn more about the capability of the Powerhouse Content Block.

Powerhouse Widgets

After teachers have added content to the Class Pages, they can extend the learning experience by uploading additional tools and resources to extend the learning.

Schools use Powerhouse widgets as digital glue to leverage their current e-Learning investment and bring their existing software into customised dashboards.   

Use Powerhouse Widgets to link All e-Learning Resources into a Single Class Page

The  Powerhouse widgets link the school library systems, LMS platforms, video banks, digital curriculum content repositories, RSS feeds and all other e-Learning applications into class pages.

Teachers control the widget links with point and click technology.  Clicking the customise button presents the widget control pannel. See the image below:

Adding resources to Class Pages with widgets is simple and quick. For example, to link a video (online or local) select the Video Widget and select the video type. Most video formats can be loaded to Class Pages.  

Add the video title and upload the video (or import the embed code). The video is added instantly to the Class Page and can be played in small or full screen mode. Refer to the image below:

The same process is used to upload links to software applications, RSS feeds, audio files, animated learning objects, blogs, wikis and much more.
