Class Tools Homework
Adding Homework to Class Pages
The Class Tools on the Class Page provide teachers with a custom application to automate the publishing of homework tasks.
Select the Homework tab on the Class Tools menu bar and the following screen will be displayed:
The Homework Screen shows a list of all current homework tasks and projects for the class.
To add new homework for this class, click the 'Add Homework' button. Complete the following tasks:
- Add the homework title
- Write a description of the task
- Select a due date
- Upload supporting documents
- Select the date to remove the document from the database
- Add a homework dropbox for the homework to be submitted online

Automated Publishing and Sharing of Homework Tasks
As homework is added to a class, the homework information automatically publishes to:
- The Homework Widget on the Class Page (refer to image right)
- The Class Calendar
- The Student Calendar
- The Parent Calendar
- The Teacher Calendar
- The Next Task Due application
The teachers, students and parents have centralised calendars where all calendars are aggregated. The aggregated calendars can be filtered by child, homework, events, sport and school dates.
Calendars can be shared with Outlook and Google applications.
