Adding information to Powerhouse Campus Calendars calendar entry form

The Powerhouse Campus Calendars feature inbuilt and intuitive publishing. For instance, when the teacher creates a new homework entry and adds a due date for the submission of the work, the date is published automatically and instantly in the class calendar. All students enrolled in the class will instantly be able to view the homework listing in their class calendar.

To assist the student with their organisation, the homework is also instantly published as a live link in the centralised calendar which is displayed on their student dashboard. Parents of children enrolled in the class will also be able to view the homework in their centralised and child-specific calendar.event information with Google Map

The automated publishing of information to all stakeholders that need access to information is a key feature of Powerhouse Campus.

The same publishing process applies to co-curricular events. The basketball coach can publish a training or match fixture in the basketball calendars and all players and their parents will have instant access to this information through their centralised and activity specific calendars.

When the coach adds the event from the activity dashboard, venue, game time, game description and venue location is included with the listing. Players and their parents can simply log onto their dashboards and select the calendar listing and view all information when it is needed. The integration of Google maps means that parents can logon to their dashboard via an iPhone to access the information.

In addition to the school information and events that is published automatically in the series of linked calendars, teachers, students, parents and staff can add their own personal entries and reminders in their calendars.

Streaming Calendar Information and Tasksnext due date

Powerhouse Campus assists all school members, in particular students, manage the constant stream of homework and study tasks. A feature on all member dashboards is the 'Next task due' information box.

As teachers, staff and coaches add assignments, tasks and events to their calendars, this dynamic information box selects the next three pending tasks and pushes these to the top of the student dashboard.

The student simply selects the link and is taken instantly to the original entry to view the complete task and access any related documents and resources. The dynamic linking applies to all listings in the series of Powerhouse Campus calendars.

The 'Next task due' streaming information box features on all student, teacher and staff pages to assist with filtering and prioritising information published onto the calendars.
