Adding Class Pages

Building Your Class Pages

When teachers logon to Powerhouse Campus, they view all of their classes. Selecting one of these classes displays the relevant Class Page. Any changes made to the class page show automatically on the dashboards of the students enrolled in that class. The updates are also displayed in aligned parent dashboards.

At the top of the class pages there is a Class Page Menu. The green tab shows the current page that it is displayed. The red tabs show the list on other Class Pages linked to this class.

Add content to your new page and add more pages as necessary. To navigate to the new pages, select the colour tabs or select the drop-down tab on the top right to show the additional pages.

Assigning New Authors to Your Class Pages

After creating new Class Pages the page is automatically assigned to you as the teacher. You have the option to assign the editorial rights to another teacher. For instance, you may be a Year 4 teacher and you have a language specialist teaching your class Spanish. Here you can create a new page on your Class Page, add the Page Title: Year 4 Spanish and then assign it to the teacher.

To assign the editorial rights of one of your Class Pages, click the Setting button. All your class pages will show. Click the Assign button and all teacher's names will show in a list. Select the teacher and click OK. The newly assigned teacher can then log onto their account and they will be able to view and edit this page.

You can use this view to add new pages, delete pages and view administration details about each page.
